US: The Hotel Chandler, a boutique property in New York’s Flatiron neighborhood has renovated its guestrooms and public spaces and added a new F&B component.

The hotel, which is owned and operated by Triumph Hotels, has revealed its new guestroom design, updated lobby and public spaces, as part of a $10 million overhaul. Early next year, advanced meeting space, a private dining room and new restaurant, Juni, are set to complete the revamp of the Flatiron property.

All 138 guestrooms have been refreshed by interior designer Jane Capellini, and the redesign encompasses the hotel’s lobby, a cocktail and wine bar, library room and the Chandler Lounge.

GM Kate Martin said: “Along with elevating the Hotel Chandler experience for guests with a property redesign, we’re pleased that the renovation coincides with and contributes to an exciting period of growth in our neighborhood. Our guests have access to some of the newest and most recognizable sites, and are in a prime spot to create memories at the city’s landmarks, parks, and restaurants.”

Juni, a 50-seat fine-dining restaurant is set to open in early 2013. Executive chef Shaun Hergatt’s menu will offer locally-sourced organic ingredients with a seasonally-inspired menu. A private dining room will be available for parties up to 30 people.
