Denmark: 25hours Hotel Indre By will open its doors on 15 March this year as the brand’s debut property in Copenhagen and the Scandinavia region.
The hotel, located between the Round Tower and the Købmagergade shopping street, comprises three existing buildings and one newly constructed. It offers 243 rooms in total, ranging from “small” to “gigantic”.
Interior design has been overseen by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, a first time collaboration for 25hours.
Copenhagen project director Henning Weiß explained the inspiration behind the design: “Coming of Age was our fundamental idea when we were developing the concept of the hotel, which ties in with the building’s former use as part of a university. Passion and knowledge, art and science find a new home in the hotel in an exciting combination.”
Facilities include the main restaurant NENI, Café Duse, Boilerman Bar, Vinyl Room, Love Library, conference area, co-working space, and a fitness studio with outdoor sauna.
Also available for hotel guests is bicycles from Schindelhauer, including classic city bikes and e-bikes. A tour map has been compiled for 25hours by bike professionals.
A second property in Copenhagen, 25hours Hotel Paper Island, is expected to open in 2024. Future destinations for the brand include Sydney and Melbourne.
