US: Aimbridge Hospitality has been selected to manage the boutique Coachman Hotel in South Lake Tahoe and the upscale Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia hotel.
CL Hotels recently acquired the newly-renovated Coachman Hotel. CL plans to remodel 22 of the total 104 rooms and increase the property’s meeting space by 900 square feet. A grab-and-go F&B outlet is also in the works.
Joao Woiler, CL Hotels’ managing partner, said: “The acquisition of Coachman in such a challenging financial market demonstrates the strength of CL Hotels and our permanent commitment to curate properties that will bring excellent results to our investors. The Coachman will continue to be an independent hotel and for the management we have retained our long-term partner Evolution Hospitality, the lifestyle and boutique arm of Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading, global hotel management company.”
Bruno Piacentini, managing partner, added: “The purchase comes along with a multi-million investment plan that is focused on expanding room offer, meeting space and food and beverage options. We believe we can deliver exceptional returns by finding unique assets in desired destinations that can benefit from institutional management and planning.”
Aimbridge has also been selected to manage the 233-room Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia hotel, which will be operated within the group’s full service division. It features a restaurant and afternoon tea lounge, a fitness centre, outdoor pool, convenience store, and over 14,000 square feet of meeting ad event space.
The hotel opened last year and is owned by Chateau Group USA and Mingzhu LLC. It will transition to Aimbridge management by year-end.
Rob Smith, divisional president of Aimbridge Full Service, said: “We look forward to operating this distinctive hotel on behalf of the ownership group. Our commitment to providing elevated, differentiated experiences for guests will leave a lasting impression. Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia represents a design-forward approach, and the mid-century modern aesthetic combines with meaningful amenities to make this hotel a destination of choice for travellers to Southern California.”
