UK: The Andaz Liverpool Street in London has installed a jukebox stocked with Christmas songs chosen by the hotel’s staff.
The Christmas jukebox at Andaz is in the hotel’s lounge from December 1st to the 28th and will feature Christmas classics including Bing Crosby’s Little Drummer Boy, Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, John Lennon’s Happy Xmas (War is Over), and the Pogues’ Fairytale of New York.
Festive tunes on the Andaz jukebox can be selected for £0.50 per song, with all proceeds from the jukebox going to the hotel’s partner charity Providence Row, which supports London’s homeless.
General manager Arnaud de Saint-Exupéry said: “We wanted to bring something different to the hotel for Christmas this year by introducing a Christmas jukebox, to provide guests fun and enjoyment while also giving back to the community. Christmas is a time for giving and our vintage jukebox is the perfect way to get everyone in a festive mood whilst supporting a great cause.”
