Italy: Avani Hotels & Resorts, the upscale lifestyle brand of Minor Hotels, has debuted in Venice with the opening of Avani Rio Novo in Dorsoduro.
The interiors of the 144-key Avani Rio Novo Venice are inspired by the city’s connection to the world of cinema. Memorabilia can be found in the rooms and suites whereas the restaurant and library feature portraits of movie stars and books on the subject.
At 8 Millimetri Cicchetti & Wine, the hotel’s main restaurant, a grab-and-go option is also available for coffees, pastries and other snacks. The restaurant can be combined with dedicated meeting spaces on the ground floor.
Other amenities include a gym as well as off-site experiences curated by the Avani team. These include a guided morning run, mask-making, wine tasting and more.

In the next few years, Avani is set to launch in key cities across Europe as well as making its entrance into South and Central America with upcoming hotels in Colombia and Mexico.
