Spain: Mexican real estate firm RLH Properties has acquired the Bless Hotel Madrid from Grupo Didra and Aina Hospitality for €115 million.
The 111-room Bless Hotel Madrid first opened in 2019 under Palladium Group in the city’s Salamanca district. It marked the debut of the Bless brand and it is affiliated to The Leading Hotels of the World.
Amenities include the Etxeko restaurant and club bar Feten Bar Clandestino, a rooftop pool and bar Picos Pardos Sky Lounge, a wellness centre in partnership with spa operator Tacha, as well as meeting spaces.
RLH Properties owns other hotels in Madrid, including Villa Magna which the company bought in 2018 for €1.4 million. This hotel is set to become the Rosewood Madrid.
Borja Escalada, CEO of RLH Properties, said: “This new acquisition is a further and very important step in our growth strategy in Europe and Spain, which began with the purchase of the Rosewood Villa Magna and is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation. Hotel Bless Madrid fits perfectly into our hotel portfolio and complements our position in Spain.”
Established in 2013 in Mexico City, RLH Properties acquires, develops and manages high-end hotels and resorts alongside branded villas. The company currently has seven hotels (1,370 rooms) and one 18-hole golf course.
