Greece: Brown Beach Eretria and Brown Beach Chalkida are the first two resorts to launch under a new sub-brand by Brown Hotels.
Located on Evia Island, Brown Beach Eretria and Brown Beach Chalkida follow the group’s expansion into seaside offerings earlier this summer with the launch of Isla Brown Corinthia.
The two Brown Beach properties, part of a new four-star resort brand, join Brown Hotels’ Greek portfolio which now totals nine.
Brown Beach Eretria also marks the debut property by the group to offer all-inclusive packages. It is home to the “Blue Stories” watersports centre by Brown Hotels, which offers a range of activities for adults and children including water skiing, wakeboarding, diving, parasailing, flyboarding, and more.
It also features two swimming pools, a spa and wellness centre, gym, in-house entertainment programme, events space, bar and all-day-dining restaurant.
Brown Beach Chalkida is located on the Agios Mimas beach on Evia Island. It offers 119 rooms, a swimming pool and bar, restaurant, tennis courts, gym, spa and wellness centre, plus event space.
Leon Avigad, founder of Brown Hotels, said: “Evia Island is one of the largest and closest islands to Athens, yet still remains relatively unknown. Being so closely located to Athens, accessible by a one hour car drive, and with such a beautiful coastline, we saw an opportunity to invest in this untapped destination as domestic and international tourism continues to rise. The new Brown Beach resorts usher in a new hospitality offering to the Brown Hotels collection, and we’re excited to be diversifying and connecting with new audiences as the group expands.”
Brown Hotels has properties located in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Eilat (Israel), Trogir (Croatia), and Athens, Corinthia, Chalkida, Eretria and Corfu (Greece). The group is set to open and operate a total of 40 hotels across Greece, Germany and Cyprus by 2024.
