UK: Owner-operator Crimson Hotels has purchased the Trafalgar Square St. James London, Curio Collection by Hilton, from London + Regional Hotels.
The acquisition marks the fourth Hilton property in London for Crimson, which operates a portfolio of 10 hotels in total. The Trafalgar Square hotel offer 131 rooms, several F&B venues, with a new Asian restaurant set to open on the ground floor.
Federico Ciampi, the current general manager of 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel in London, has been promoted to cluster general manager overseeing both 100 Queen’s Gate and Trafalgar St. James.
Aly Kassam, CEO at Crimson Hotels said: “We are delighted to have acquired The Trafalgar St. James, allowing us to further expand our portfolio and solidify our presence in London. The hotel will complement our existing portfolio and strengthens our ongoing relationship with Hilton.”
The hotels and hospitality team at JLL represented L+R on the sale of the property.
