Buckingham Companies appoints operators for The Alexander

US: Davidson Hospitality Group has been selected by Buckingham Companies to manage The Alexander in Indianapolis under Pivot, its lifestyle operating vertical.

The Alexander comprises 157 deluxe rooms and 53 extended-stay suites, two food and beverage venues, and 16,500 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.

It also features 50 works of art by 25 artists, as well as 14 site-specific commissioned works curated by the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Under the new management, the hotel is set to undergo a renovation.

Davidson Hospitality Group is a full-service hospitality management company, comprising 67 hotels and resorts, over 165 restaurants, bars and lounges, and nearly 1.5 million square feet of meeting space across the States.

The group has made several key appointments recently, including a senior vice president of operations and a vice president of openings and transitions.
