Davidson Hospitality Group appoints Seth McDaniels as VP opening and transitions

USA: Seth McDaniels has been appointed vice president of openings and transitions at Davidson Hospitality Group.

McDaniels will be responsible for directing all new build openings, acquisitions, and dispositions across company verticals. This includes Davidson Hotels, Pivot, and Davidson Resorts. 

Prior, McDaniels served as director of openings, transitions, and brand experience at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. During his four-year tenure, he transitioned, opened, and dispositioned 25 properties, while managing 28 new build projects. 

McDaniels has also held the role of general manager at The Epiphany (now Nobu Hotel Palo Alto) in Palo Alto, California. Here, he oversaw all operational departments and stewarded the success of the property. The hotel was named the number one hotel in overall service scores in the Two Roads portfolio.

McDaniels studied at Florida International University, Chaplin School of Hospitality Management. Here, he received a B.S. in Hospitality Management. 

Davidson Hospitality Group is comprised of 61 hotels and resorts, more than 150 restaurants, bars and lounges. The group is partnered with and operates Hilton, Hyatt, Kimpton, Marriott and Margaritaville properties.
