Switzerland: SchlossHotel Zermatt has teamed up with SwissCBD to develop the new CBD spa.
SwissCBD, which belongs to the Schibano Pharma Group AG, produces legal products from cannabis for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry. The company is certified in CBD production by Swissmedic GMP/API, the regulatory and supervisory authority for medicinal products and medical devices.
CBD is used across a wide range of treatments in the SchlossSpa, including CBD oils and the CBD herbal sauna. Other spa classics such as a Finnish Sauna, Mediterranean Bath and steam bath is also available.
As part of the experience, guests can also choose between Water Paradise showers, the Ice Crystal Room or the Salt Rest Room in the Oasis.
The new CBD spa ties in with the hotel’s wellness concept: “Stay active. Stay well”. A variety of activities are on offer including daily yoga and fitness classes, as well as dedicated yoga retreats and boot camps during the summer.
CEO of Schibano Pharma Group AG, Daniel Schibano, said: “In close cooperation with the SchlossHotel, we were able to develop the appropriate concept and design all the treatments in the new SchlossSpa.”
The SchlossHotel Zermatt comprises 49 rooms and suites spread across the main building, plus a newly added six-bedroom SchlossHouse and two-bedroom SchlossCottage.
