US: Construction is underway on a 119-room boutique hotel in the city centre of Alpharetta, Georgia, just over an hour from Atlanta.
The Hamilton is a joint venture between Hilton’s Curio Collection and area developers Hotel Equities and Mayfair Street Partners.
The hotel is meant to become the beating heartbeat of the Atlanta Suburb, adding to its entertainment and restaurant scene. Amenities include a fitness studio, retail establishment, meeting spaces, and the 1858 Public House restaurant and bar.
The hotel also features a speakeasy style bar and social club, the flagship piece of the hotel’s adult-oriented entertainment level.
Jason Joseph, Mayfair CEO, said: “This project is special for many reasons, especially myself being from Alpharetta, Mayfair head quartered in this great city, and bringing a legacy asset to the community are all incredible… With award-winning hotel operators, and the backing of Hilton, one of the world’s most iconic brands, The Hamilton will be an incredible and meaningful addition to the downtown market.”
The Curio collection’s offerings have been on the rise lately, opening new hotels in Shoreditch and hiring new staff for their San Diego hotel offering. With the Atlanta metro area seeing a massive influx of people and business over the decade prior, this hotel opening may ride the city’s rising tide.
