UK: Dexter Moren Associates has secured a second central London planning win for Dominvs Group
Dexter Moren Associates has announced the securing of a second central London planning win for Dominvs Group with a new-build boutique hotel.
The design centres on a 1990s office building to construct a 29,525 sq ft boutique hotel at 233-237 Old Marylebone Road, London. The 93 key hotel will offer guests a unique hospitality experience in a building that combines influences from the surrounding neighbourhood into a distinctive contemporary design.
DMA’s design increases the height of the previous building to create a more harmonious relationship along Old Marylebone Road and preserve the character, scale and hierarchy of the existing streetscape. The design and materials will integrate sympathetically into the diverse collection of periods and styles of the surrounding buildings.
A spokesperson for Dexter Moren said: “The hotel at Old Marylebone Road is one of several being undertaken for Dominvs Group, and builds on our strong track record of creating quality hotel projects that achieve both commercial success and enhance the neighbourhoods in which they are located”.
