Italy: Luxury boutique brand EDITION Hotels has opened its latest property in Rome, marking the sixteenth property in the global portfolio.

Owned by Statuto Group, The Rome EDITION is housed in a 1940s building close to Via Veneto. Original features have been retained throughout including statues and lamps.

The hotel features 91 rooms and suites, three bars, a rooftop lounge, bar and pool, a restaurant, wellness space with a gym and treatment rooms, and a courtyard garden.

Anima, the hotel’s main Italian restaurant, will be led by chef Paola Colucci. The kitchen is open-fronted and screened with amber glass for guests to watch the team at work.

The garden features more than 400 plants and provides outdoor seating for Anima on one side and an all-day terrace on the other, which offers a menu of light dishes.

Located on the ground floor is the speakeasy bar Punch Room and the cocktail lounge Jade Bar. Up on the seventh floor, The Roof features a bar and plunge pool. Here, raw and cooked dishes inspired the Mediterranean Sea will be served.

EDITION currently operates 15 hotels globally: New York and Times Square New York, London, Miami Beach, West Hollywood, Barcelona, Bodrum, Shanghai, Sanya China, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Tokyo Toranomon, Reykjavik, Madrid and Tampa.
