UK: Flat Cap Hotels, a collection of bespoke gastro-led heritage hotels in Cheshire, has launched more 12 suites at The Courthouse in Knutsford and The Bridge in Prestbury.
The Courthouse and The Bridge are both Grade II listed properties and the addition of six new suites in each ensures they provide luxury accommodation for guests.
The suites aim to provide a home-away-from-home, offering spacious and opulent rooms, combining period features with contemporary touches.
The Courthouse, situated in the Cheshire town of Knutsford, is a Grade II listed 200-year-old heritage building, which was designed by architect George Moneypenny and originally the Knutsford Crown Court. The Courthouse now houses a grand hotel, restaurant and event space.
It also currently houses three luxury rooms, while a further six suites have been added to its collection. The suites offer between 28-40 square metres of spacious luxury.
Embracing classical and Victorian style, the suites pay homage to a traditional English country manor house, decorated in hues of green, blue and lavender complete with vintage and Baroque styled furniture. Distinct features found throughout the bedrooms include grand mirrors, four poster beds, unique art, bespoke rugs, high ceilings, original fire places and luxury bathrooms with rainfall showers and roll top baths.
Added touches include ultra-fast complimentary Wi-Fi throughout and a vintage desk complete with banker’s light, Roberts radio and a smart plasma TV.
The Bridge, situated in the picturesque village of Prestbury, is a Grade II listed country pub, combining quirky decor with country comforts. The venue boasts luxurious accommodation and fine food, complete with views of the gardens and the River Bollin.
The Bridge currently houses 23 rooms, divided between the historic half-timbered part of the building and the Whiteside Wing.
The six brand-new suites reside in the grade II listed part of the building varying from 28-38 sqm.
Each suite contains unique features with original beams and parquet wooden floors, adding a distinct art deco touch, bespoke furniture and wallpaper, all in hues of green, blue and lavender. The luxury bathrooms feature classical tiles, rainfall showers and colourful roll top baths with Bramley toiletries.
The Flat Cap portfolio comprises of The Courthouse in Knutsford, The Bridge in Prestbury and The Vicarage in Holmes Chapel. Each Flat Cap destination offers something different, from Grade II listed country pubs with luxury accommodation, to an imposing heritage Crown Court building.
