UK/France: Hybrid hospitality brand Generator has acquired Novotel London Greenwich and signed a hotel management agreement for Covivio’s Paris office building in the 13th arrondissement.

It marks Generator’s second properties in both cities. The Greenwich hotel will become Generator London Greenwich, while the Paris office building will be converted into Generator Paris Place d’Italie.

Both properties will offer Generator’s mix of private and shared accommodation, communal spaces, and various food and beverage venues.

The Greenwich will transition to Generator London Greenwich from 1 January 2027 and is scheduled for a renovation the following spring. It’s located near many London cultural and entertainment destinations, such as the Royal Observatory, the O2 and ExCel London.

Generator Paris Place d’Italie is located near the Place d’Italie, as well as several cultural attractions and higher-education institutions. In addition to accommodation and food and drink sites, the hotel includes over 300 square metres of social spaces that connect to an external courtyard and landscaped patio.

“The announcement of our second properties in London and Paris marks the start of an ambitious new phase of growth for Generator,” Generator’s CEO Xavier Mufraggi said. “Both cities are some of the world’s most visited and influential destinations, allowing us the opportunity to strengthen our presence in these key global markets while bringing the Generator experience to a new part of the capitals.”
