The Goodtime Hotel joins Tribute Portfolio

The Goodtime Hotel

US: The Goodtime Hotel, created by David Grutman of Groot Hospitality and musician Pharrell Williams, has joined Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio of independent properties.

Located in Miami Beach, the 266-room boutique hotel, retail, and live music destination is the first lifestyle brand from Grutman and Williams.

The property was developed by Michael D. Fascitelli and Eric Birnbaum of Imperial Companies, with architect Morris Adjmi, designer Ken Fulk and landscape architect Raymond Jungles collaborating on the project.

The Goodtime Hotel opened in April 2021 and is managed by Highgate. It offers a Mediterranean restaurant, a library, and a gym with MyBeast and Peloton equipment.

Retail partners on the ground floor include smoothie franchise Pure Green, swimwear brand Vilebrequin, sunglasses and jewellery from Vintage Frames, and F45 Hiit Training.

Grutman said: “We are thrilled to be joining the Marriott family to provide the 360-degree Groot Hospitality hotel experience to an even wider audience through Tribute Portfolio’s platform. We look forward to providing Marriott Bonvoy members access to all The Goodtime Hotel has to offer.”

Jennifer Connell, global brand leader, Tribute Portfolio, and VP distinctive premium brands, Marriott International, said: “The Goodtime Hotel captures the electric energy of Miami’s South Beach and brings its unique identity and design-driven approach into the guest experience, making it a perfect match for the Tribute Portfolio.

She added: “This portfolio of independent hotels continues to catch the eye of the modern traveller – those who are drawn to a vibrant social scene and crave a connection with the destinations they’re visiting. We know visitors will be as thrilled as we are to have The Goodtime Hotel as a part of the Tribute Portfolio family and member of Marriott Bonvoy.”
