Hitchins reopens The Ardeonaig Hotel after £1.8 million renovation

UK: Hotelier Ian Hitchins has reopened The Ardeonaig Hotel in Perthshire.

Hitchins, who also owns  The Killin Hotel and Ben Lawers Hotel, bought the property in June, and has spent more than £1.8 million on renovations. He has also brought in head chef David McCulloch, who has previously worked at Kincraig Castle and Fonab Castle.

Located on the shores of the Loch Tay, The Ardeonaig has 13 acres of grounds. There has been an inn has been welcoming travellers on the site since at least the 16th century, and the oldest parts of the hotel’s main building date from that time.
