Spain: Ikos Resorts will open the five-star Ikos Andalusia in spring 2021 with a complimentary Travel Protection Plan that includes Covid-19 medical coverage and flexible booking conditions.
The opening will be the fifth addition to the Ikos Resorts’ portfolio, and marks the first property outside of Greece for the group.
The Travel Protection plan, created by the regional government of Andalusia, applies to all tourists and visitors (non-residents) travelling to Andalusia between 1 January to 31 December 2021. It will be offered to all international guests staying at Ikos Andalusia over the year.
Insurance covers up to €4,000 medical expenses associated with Covid-19, transportation in a private ambulance to and/or from the hospitality, repatriation to country of residence due to falling ill with Covid, and up to 15 days of quarantine expenses including extended-stay, meals, and local transportation expenses up to €5,000.
It forms part of Ikos Resorts’ Infinite Care Protocol, an all-tested promise that staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening, and will continue to undergo regular antigen tests.
A complimentary rapid antigen test will also be offered to all domestic and international guests upon arrival. International guests are able to book the necessary tests required for travel specifications before departure at an additional cost.
Ikos Resorts is a collection of five beachfront luxury hotels, including Ikos Oceania, Ikos Olivia, Ikos Dassia, Ikos Aria and soon Ikos Andalusia.
