US: Indianapolis’ first and only northside boutique hotel has opened
Ironworks Hotel has launched in Indianapolis. It is northside Indianapolis’ first and only boutique hotel.
The architecture of the five-story brick industrial building was inspired by 19th century architecture. The building houses 120 guest rooms. The building also includes an upscale restaurant called Provision, from Cunningham Restaurant Group, as well as a range of breakfast an all-day dining options.
The 100,000-square-foot hotel will offer a range of amenities for guests, including a fitness center, conference rooms, luxury bedding, shuttle service and pet-friendly rooms. Some rooms offer spa-style bathrooms, 75-inch TVs or 60-inch double-sided flatscreen TVs, and walk-out verandas with fire pits and outdoor music.
Isaac Bamgbose, vice president of asset management for Hendricks Commercial Properties, the commercial properties company behind Ironworks, said: “Some of these nice big hotels are great, but you are still talking about 200-plus rooms. We really want to provide a unique experience to our guests. I think we have a lot of travelers who are looking for a unique experience that you’re not going to get anywhere else.”
