AUS: Langham Hospitality Group is to open its third property in Australia this year, located on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise.

The Langham, Gold Coast will feature 169 rooms and suites. It has been developed by AW Holding Group with architecture by DBI Design and interiors by Studio Aria. 

Langham Hospitality will also manage the Jewel Residences consisting of 170 serviced apartments, ranging from one to four bedroom options. Oppenheim Architecture + Design are the appointed architects.

Collectively, the hotel and serviced apartments are the tallest of three landmark towers of the Jewel development.

Other facilities at the property include a signature Cantonese restaurant T’ang Court, a casual grab and go cafe 26 & Sunny, an all-day dining restaurant Akoya, a pool bar and a podium sky terrace with the Coral Moon bar, afternoon tea at the Palm Court, the Chuan Spa, and a 628 square metre ballroom with additional five meeting rooms.

Guests of the residences have full access to these amenities.

General manager, John O’Shea, said: “We are excited to bring quintessential Langham service to the Gold Coast very soon. The Langham is renowned for its exceptional hospitality, and when our hotel opens in 2022, we look forward to taking modern coastal luxury to new heights.”

Langham Hospitality first announced the opening in 2020 with plans to launch the property in 2021.
