US: The West Street Hotel in Bar Harbor, Maine, has opened its doors and pledged the first night’s takings to good causes.
The hotel’s owners pledged that the entire room revenue from the first operational night will be donated to the Bar Harbor Food Pantry, whose mission is to provide food and other household products free of charge to residents in need.
“We are thrilled to be opening our doors because we offer a unique, boutique experience to Maine,” said Matt Brestle, GM of the West Street Hotel. “And we’re also proud to be supportive of the Bar Harbor Food Pantry.”
