NYC’s Jade Hotel opens its doors

US: The Jade Hotel, a 113-room boutique property in New York’s Greenwich Village is open for business.

It offers five room categories, all of which feature are C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries bath products, armoires with deep drawers, a clock radio designed by Tivoli Audio and a rotary-dial phone. The penthouse features a walkout balcony boasting “a jaw-dropping view of the city”, and soaking tubs with showers.

The on-site bar and restaurant, Grapevine, is run by restaurateur Frederick Lesort and serves craft beers, cocktails, and “artisanal American fare”.

To coincide with its launch, The Jade has introduced a range of five packages, and also offers free walking tours of Greenwich Village.
