UK: Following a £3million refurbishment, the Prince Akatoki London hotel will join the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) consortium.
Formerly known as The Arch London, the rebranded 82-bedroom hotel will open its doors 16th September 2019.
After acquiring the property in November from the Bejerano family’s AB Hotels group, owner StayWell Holdings (a subsidiary of Japan’s Prince Hotels) took the decision to transform the property.
It will be the first London hotel to open under the Prince Akatoki brand and will revolve around Japanese hospitality and culture.
The hotel’s restaurant, Tokii, will offer an East-West fusion along with a Japanese tea service, whereas the Malt Lounge and Bar will predominantly focus on Japanese whisky and sake.
The Prince Akatoki brand is anticipated to expand worldwide.
SLH currently represents 36 UK hotels among more than 500 properties across 80 countries.
