UK: Principal Hotel Company has made a number of changes to its central reservations service
Principal Hotel Company, a collection of 35 properties in the UK under the PRINCIPAL and De Vere brands, has announced plans to relocate its central reservations service.
The move is one of a number of changes to its reservations service. It is part os the company’s multi-million pound programme of investment, which is taking place across the portfolio.
Calls to the central reservation line will now be answered by UK-based call handlers with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Principal Hotel Company’s portfolio of hotels and venues. the central reservations service previously resided in the US.
The company has also invested in technology to support the move. One of the new features includes webchat, which provides an additional way for customers to contact the team.
