Shepherd Cox acquires Crab Manor Hotel

UK: Hotel group Shepherd Cox has recently acquired the five-star hotel in North Yorkshire, along with its double AA Rosette Crab and Lobster restaurant.

Located in Thirsk, the Crab Manor Hotel features 20 rooms all individually designed and inspired by different destinations from across the world.

Two weeks prior to the acquisition, Shepherd Cox also purchased the The Olde Barn – a three AA-starred, 103-room hotel in Lincolnshire.

Lee Bramzell, founder of Shepherd Cox, said: “We’re incredibly delighted to be able to add the Crab Manor Hotel and its restaurant, the Crab and Lobster, to our ever growing and impressive portfolio of hotels. I’m happy to say that, with this new acquisition, we are only going from strength to strength as our portfolio of hotels grows and drives the business forward.”

The group’s portfolio comprises The Bridge Hotel and Spa in Wetherby, Wroxton House Hotel in Banbury, The George Coaching Inn in Piercebridge, and the Three Ways House Hotel which is home to The Pudding Club.
