Germany: After closing in 2020, the former Grandhotel Hessischer Hof has reopened as Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt.

Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt has been designed by JOI-Design and offers 117 guest rooms and nine suites. The largest of the suites features two bedrooms, a separate meeting room, and a kitchenette.

The hotel’s main restaurant is the Bombay Brasserie, led by executive chef Nilesh Dangwal, which seats 60 indoor covers and 45 outside. Additional F&B venues include Jimmy’s Bar and the Lobby Lounge & Bar.

Across three interconnected spaces is Taj’s members club The Chambers. Alongside a dedicated meeting room, members will have access to private concierge services and a programme of events.

The J Wellness Circle also offers treatments, relaxation rooms, a 24-hour gym, two saunas and two steam rooms.

Albert Mayr, general manager of Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt, said: “Our goal is to pair European elegance with the warmth and generosity for which Taj is known. From dinner at Bombay Brasserie and late-night drinks at Jimmy’s Bar to the suites and J Wellness Circle, we want the hotel to feel special at every turn. It is wonderful to see this much-loved Frankfurt address come back to life and to welcome guests into its next chapter.”

The Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt joins two properties in the UK – St. James’ Court, A Taj Hotel, London and Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences, London – as well as hotels in the United States, India, Sri Lanka, the UAE, and more.
