US: The Cloudveil, the newest property from luxury brand Autograph Collection, has announced a 2021 opening date.
Drawing on the western style of the town of Jackson, Wyoming, the property hopes to bring a refined yet relaxed sensibility to the nearby Jackson Hole area.
This is the third major announcement from Marriott’s Autograph Collection, following a West Texas opening in July and Florida’s Luminary & Co. in September.
Located at the edge of Grand Teton National park, the Cloudveil will feature high-quality views of the area’s essential natural beauty. This also puts it in a short distance of Jackson’s many boutique shops, restaurants and culture fixtures, and an hour away from Yellowstone National Park.
Design is another essential element of the property, attempting to use raw materials and crisp imagery to demonstrate the area’s fusion of nature and exploration. Interior designers TruexCollins will lead the venture, with assistance from architects CLB and the IBI Group.
Jamie Yarrow of Crystal Creek Capital, a Jackson real estate advisor, said: “As we dreamt up this concept, we have understood the importance of this location to our community and to our guests and we’ve taken this responsibility into every decision and every detail we have made. We want The Cloudveil to reflect and tell the stories of the amazing people and the physical beauty that make Jackson so special.”
Gastronomically inclined guests will be able to feast at the high-quality Bistro and raw bar, led by restauranteur Gavin Fine. The hotel will also feature a rooftop terrace, and a series of excursions which include skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting and beyond.
