UK: Lifestyle hotel The Imperial has opened in Bloomsbury, London, following a decade-long repositioning under Imperial London Hotels.
First opened in 1905, the hotel is located at 61-66 Russell Square. Its reposting to The Imperial marks the third identity for the site.
The 357 guest rooms and suites range from Bay Rooms overlooking Russell Square to the Hideaway Suites, with private terraces and outdoor bathtubs. The Nest Suites come with a mezzanine cinema.
For exclusive use by guests staying in the hotel’s premium suites, The Bell Room and Terrace provide an indoor-outdoor lounge space with complimentary snacks and drinks.
At the top of the hotel, the rooftop bar and restaurant Arcus provides 360-degree views of London. On the ground floor is the Edit Bar & Lounge.
The Imperial joins a portfolio including the adjacent President Hotel and nearby Bedford Hotel, as well as Tavistock Hotel, Morton Hotel, Royal National Hotel, City Sleeper at Royal National, and Holiday Inn Bloomsbury.
