UK: Manchester’s five-star hotel has rounded off renovations throughout the property by unveiling its newly built Junior Suites.
The Junior Suites include king-sized beds, a walk-in dressing room, power showers with Jo Malone toiletries, and a relaxation area with an in-room bar offering views of the river and the city scape.
Designed by interior designers, Goddard Littlefair, the rooms feature contemporary and colourful artwork and are fitted with Smart TV’s.
Alongside the Junior Suites, the Presidential Suite underwent a £700,000 refurbishment that included a complete reconfiguration and redesign of space, an enlarged dressing room, and a new bespoke marble bathroom.
Other developments at the hotel involve a redesign of the lobby space, upgrades to the meeting spaces, and a makeover of the River Restaurant and bar area.
The Lowry Lounge & Bar and The River Restaurant were completed in late September 2019. The area now features soft hues, a new layout and bespoke furnishings.
Adrian Ellis, general manager of The Lowry Hotel, said: “It’s been an incredibly exciting year for The Lowry Hotel. We’re investing nearly £5 million in developments to cement our status as Manchester’s premier five-star hotel amongst growing competition in the city. The new Junior Suites allow us to maintain our five-star service standards, as well as offering a varied range of luxury room options to suit all of our guest’s needs.”
The Lowry Hotel has 153 bedrooms and 12 suites, as well as a spa, restaurant and bar, and a variety of meeting and event spaces.
