UK: Part of Exclusive Collection, The Manor House has purchased a self-catering cottage in the village of Castle Combe.
The newly acquired Baker’s Cottage is a two-bedroom, dog-friendly property with its own garden terrace, kitchen and lounge. It comes with a double size bedroom, twin bedroom, as well as a sofa bed in the living area.
General manager at The Manor House, Gaius Wyncoll, said: “Baker’s Cottage is a real coup for The Manor House. It’s a stunning property with lots of character and plenty of space for an entire family. We are lucky enough to be situated in one of the most magnificent parts of the country and wanted to make sure we would appeal to everyone looking for a domestic getaway this summer. It is fantastic that we now have several options so that people can still escape after nearly a year of being cooped up at home.”
The Manor House already has Ludlow Cottage (also in Castle Combe) as part of its offering. It’s a one-bedroom property with a bathroom, lounge and small kitchen, and an outside garden to the rear.
Also available on the estate is a golf lodge overlooking the 18th green of the golf course, which provides an additional self-contained option. The golf club is part of a wider estate, which encompasses The Castle Inn pub as well as the hotel.
The Manor House is a 14th Century stately hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant, al-fresco dining terraces and a gin bar. It is scheduled fully open on 17 May in line with government’s easing of restrictions.
