US: Flagler Banyan Square, a $145m redevelopment in downtown West Palm Beach, will return a boutique hotel after a 50-year absence.
The Ben – named after the Ben Trovato Estate of the early 1900’s – is a Marriott Autograph Collection property, and will include 208 bedrooms, function rooms, meeting spaces, two restaurants, and a rooftop bar.
The hotel will be built on the corner of North Narcisuss Avenue and Banyan Boulevard, and forms part of the larger Flagler Banyan Square multi-use project.
Bernardo Neto, general manager of the upcoming hotel, said: “Our approach to service will be unpretentious and comfortable, yet elevated with touches of luxury.”
Developers Navarro Lowrey, Concord Hospitality, and Woodfield Investments, will also deliver 251 luxury apartments, 34,000 square feet of commercial space, and Class-A boutique office space.
Downtown West Palm Beach has seen a continued growth in visitors over the last decade, whereby the Flagler Banyan Square project is one of many new hotels, office towers, and residential lettings that are rising in the area.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
