US: Argentine-American restaurateur Adolfo Suaya is to open a 134-key Whiskey Hotel.
The property will feature whisky-themed minibars in each room. The seven-storey hotel will be built on a vacant lot on Wilcox Avenue near Hollywood Boulevard. The hotel will also have a rooftop bar and a ground-floor restaurant.
Silver Lake-based Roschen Van Cleve Architects and Downtown’s CK Architecture are designing the hotel. The project is expected to break ground this year and finish construction by the end of 2021.
