US: Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho, has been awarded AAA Four Diamond status.
Fewer than five per cent of the 31,000 properties and restaurants rated annually by the American Automobile Association receive Four Diamond Status, and Shore lodge is one of three properties in Idaho to gain it in 2013.
General manager Dan Scott said: “The achievement of this rating is a true honor and serves as evidence of the hard work of every single team member here at Shore Lodge. We strive to make our guests’ stays here exceptional and memorable — this designation is a true testament to that.”
Located on the shores of Payette Lake, Shore Lodge features 77 guest suites, a fine dining restaurant and lounge, and a spa with immersion pools, steam rooms, fire pit and garden, a fitness studio and salon.
Leisure activities on offer include boating, rafting, fly-fishing, hiking and golfing in warmer months and downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter.
