Aqua Hospitality adds five new properties

US: Hawaii-based management company Aqua Hospitality, part of Interval Leisure Group, has added five new hotels, totalling more than 850 rooms to the collection.

Aqua has added three Hawaiian properties and its first two hotels outside of Hawaii, bringing its portfolio to 29 hotels. The company says it will work with hotel owners investing more than $60 million “in renovation and refreshments to transform Aqua properties throughout 2014”.

The new properties are Luana Waikiki, Oahu; Hilo Naniloa Hotel, Hawaii Island; Hokele Suites Waikiki, Oahu; and outside of Hawaii the Aqua Suites Guam and a Days Inn, also in Guam.

Aqua Hospitality president and CEO Ben Rafter said: “Aqua’s history has been built around successfully renovating and repositioning Hawaii hotels. We continue to attract hotel owners who are motivated to enhance their properties because of Aqua’s proven approach of ultimately increasing revenue. Our hotel owners recognise that we care what happens at the hotels and strive to increase the value of the assets.”
