UK: The 2020 Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit (BLHS) will be part of a new, bigger hospitality and real estate event, the URBAN LIVING FESTIVAL.
Launched in London in 2011, BLHS was the first dedicated European conference and exhibition event for boutique and lifestyle hotel professionals to gather, network and do business. It has always attracted a stellar cast of global industry leading speakers, and has featured the likes of Niki Leondakis, Jason Pomeranc, Gordon Campbell Gray, Grace Leo and Christoph Hoffmann.
For 2020, the event’s organisers International Hospitality Media (IHM) have launched an exciting new hospitality and real estate event in response to the blurring lines around hospitality disciplines and converging real estate asset classes.
URBAN LIVING FESTIVAL will connect the global community of contemporary hospitality and real estate professionals to collectively define the future of how and where people stay, live and work.
It will feature three stages, titled STAY, LIVE and WORK, which will feature in-depth debates and curated content as well as interactive workshop and round table sessions.
ULF will focus on the following areas:
• Hotels and serviced apartments
• Aparthotels / extended stay hotels
• Hostels, co-living and co-working
• Build-to-rent (BTR) and student accommodation
• Short-term rentals
• Assisted living
• Healthy Buildings, sustainability and wellness
• PropTech
IHM CEO Piers Brown said: “The STAY stage will incorporate BLHS, and will have a major focus on the boutique and lifestyle hotel sector, its evolution and its relationship to other hospitality and real estate classes such as co-working, aparthotels and hostels. It will feature the high quality speakers and agenda that BLHS attendees have come to expect, while allowing them to build broader relationships across sectors, learn about the future direction of urban living and share their brand with a broader, more diverse audience.”
Also incorporating IHM’s Serviced Apartment Summit Europe and ENGAGE corporate travel buyer forum, ULF places the spotlight directly on investment, development, supply, operations, brands, distribution and demand generators in the age of convergence.
It will take place at London’s Tobacco Dock on July 1 and 2 2020.
