UK: Burley Manor, part of the New Forest Hotels Collection, has unveiled a new space for meetings and events.
Deer Park Barn is designed to fit with the aesthetic of the existing space, The Barn, positioning Burley Manor as leaders in meetings and events spaces in the region.
Working with Etre – a local interior designer based in Hampshire – and Sheerin Bettle Architecture, also local, the team wanted to create a more versatile space but stay true to the original barn’s design and feeling. Beamed and vaulted ceilings, with lots of natural light, combined with oak flooring sets a relaxed scene for any kind of meeting or event.
The additional barn reconfigures into two separate rooms for smaller meetings and events – Deer Park Barn and The Doe – so they can be used concurrently but privately. The smaller room, The Doe, can seat up to 18 guests while Deer Park can seat up to 40 guests. In total, the new space can host up to 80 seated guests and 120 standing guests.
Deer Park Barn and The Barn can also be hired as a whole, bringing Burley Manor’s M&E offering into one larger space.
Managing director Michaela Lisle said: “Since we launched The Barn at Burley Manor nearly two years ago, it has become one of the most sought-after venues in the New Forest. To thrive, we need to keep improving and innovating to meet the needs of our London and international clientele, so with that in mind, we’ve been busy designing a new way to increase our offering and make meetings and events even more seamless and now we’re excited to introduce our latest addition, Deer Park Barn, as the newest space in the New Forest.”
Adjoining Deer Park Barn is The Barn which overlooks the Italian herb garden, this flexible space can welcome up to 150 guests.
Executive head chef Ben Johnson creates bespoke menus with Mediterranean-inspired dishes and will work with organisers to create a menu specific to the event. Lunch options include rustic sharing boards, tapas platters, and a choice of barbecue or hog roast.
Burley Manor, near Ringwood in Hampshire, has 40 individually designed rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy on-site team building including off-road buggy racing, laser clay shooting, and Bell Longranger helicopter flights, all in the eight-acre grounds.
The property can be hired out for exclusive use for meetings and events.
