Italy: sbe has announced the expansion of the Delano brand into Europe with the opening of Delano Porto Cervo in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia Italy by June 2023.
Sbe will take over and redevelop the existing property in partnership with private equity firm Quianto Capital and strategic advisor and asset manager, Enma Capital.
The 68-room hotel will be remodelled in keeping with Delano’s signature style. It will feature a world-class restaurant, a lobby bar, pool bar, beach club, fitness studio and other amenities.
Sbe subsidiary Dakota Development, led by president Joe Faust, will provide design and construction management services for the project.

Sbe said it will add nearly 50 new hotels to its portfolio nationally and internationally by the year 2021. In February 2020, the company announced 10 Mondrian-branded hotels are to open by 2021, along with its first ever location in Asia.
