UK: Property developer Fragrance Group has appointed management company RBH to manage three hotels that are expected to open in the next six months.
The three franchised properties includes the Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery, along with Mercure Paignton and ibis Styles Paignton.
Municipal Hotel Liverpool will be the first MGallery branded hotel in the North-West, housed in the old Municipal Buildings which opened in 1868. The site will be transformed into a 179-bedroom luxury hotel with food and beverage, leisure and spa facilities.
Mercure Paignton will open in quarter two of 2023 as a 161-bedroom new-build seafront property and will form part of a cluster, which also includes the new 121-bedroom ibis Styles Paignton. In Paignton, Fragrant Group is working on a regeneration scheme which is expected to add £5 million a year for the local economy.
CEO at RBH, David Hart said: “I am extremely proud of this significant endorsement of RBH and to be entrusted with Fragrance Group’s first UK hotel development projects. We very much value the relationship which we have with the principals at Fragrance Group, and we are excited to expand this into the luxury market where we have also seen continued growth and success across the wider RBH portfolio.”

David, together with operations director Mark Dempsie and the wider RBH team, are true partners and we value their support and expertise.”
