UK: Grace Hotels is set to add two Latin American properties to its hotel portfolio.
Spring 2013 will see the opening of the Grace Cafayate hotel, spa and residential villas development in Calchaquí Valley, in the north-west of Argentina. Set in a 1,250 acre residential and sporting estate in the Argentinian wine country, the property will offer “outstanding wines and the best equestrian sports South America has to offer”.
The hotel and villa complex will have 52 keys, comprising the main hotel with 12 rooms, and 20 two-bedroom villas. The property features a fine dining restaurant, a wine and cigar bar, and a wine cellar.
Both hotel guests and villa owners will have access to the largest 18 hole golf course in Argentina, a clubhouse and two polo fields, as well as access to the estate’s vineyards.
Grace Panama, opening in summer 2013, will be Grace Hotels’ first property in Central America. The 60 bedroom boutique hotel will occupy the ground floor plus five upper floors of the Twist Tower in Panama City.
Grace Hotels currently has operational properties in Greece, Beijing and Newport Rhode Island.
