Indonesia’s third city to get boutique hotel

Indonesia: Sarinah, a state-owned company that operates Jakarta’s first department store, plans to open a boutique hotel in Bandung in 2013.

Mira Amahorseya, president and director of Sarinah, said the cost of investment would be around Rp 90 billion (US$9.5 million).

The hotel will be built on a 1,763 square metro plot of land in Bandung which has already been acquired. The project marks the company’s first move into the hospitality business.
