UAE: Kerzner International Holdings has launched Rare Finds, a collection of hotels and resorts, with a founding property in Dubai.
Kerzner has assumed management of the desert resort Bab Al Shams, owned by Meydan, which will close from May 2022 and reopen in 2023 as part of Rare Finds.
The re-imagination of the property will include a rooftop lounge, an infinity pool, a spa with a hammam, sauna and steam room, an indoor courtyard pool and relaxation area, a fitness suite, and indoor and outdoor event space.
Arabic cuisine will be served across the F&B venues, using local producers and responsibly sourced ingredients.
General manager Gilles Sohier has recently been appointed, joining from One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai.
