US: Nomadic hospitality solution Moliving has partnered with non-profit reforestation organisation One Tree Planted.

Since 2014, One Tree Planted has planted 40 million trees in over 43 countries. The group has over 100 partnerships with companies including Facebook, WeWork, TD Bank and more.

Moliving will plant one tree for every reservation booked at any of the group’s eco-cabins. The partnership will begin at Hurley House, located in New York’s Hudson Valley which is set to open this year.

Hanna Bem, CMO at Moliving, said: “We are privileged to partner with One Tree Planted and expand on our mission to democratise hotel development in a unique, sophisticated and most importantly, a sustainable manner. We are always looking for new ways to give back and help the environment, and we look forward to continuing this partnership with the opening of every new Moliving hotel.”

Moliving is a pop-up concept that allows hotel, cabin and resort communities to cater to seasonal demand – increasing or decreasing the number of units accordingly. Inventory adjustments are handled through the Moliving Collection, a proprietary network to manage operations.

Suites are built out of recycled green steel as well as various other recycled materials. They are designed in-house and built in local American factories to minimise its carbon footprint.
