Spain: SAM – a sustainability investing rating specialist – has ranked NH Hotel Group fourth in its sector.
Following an assessment by SAM for the first time, NH Hotel Group emerged as one of the most sustainable companies in the hotels, resorts, and cruise lines category.
With the aid of a questionnaire, SAM evaluates the companies that are pursuing best practices in the sustainability arena.
Economic, social and environmental considerations are sub-divided into 20 criteria, whereby NH Hotel Group was awarded the highest score (100th percentile) on two of these: tax strategy and environmental reporting.
Other criteria that the company scored highly on is that related with people management, including talent attraction and retention and human capital development.

NH Hotel Group is an urban hotel operator in Europe and the Americas, with over 370 hotels in its portfolio.
From 2019, the company is working with Minor Hotels to integrate all of its hotel trademarks under one umbrella brand. A portfolio of over 500 hotels has been articulated around eight brands: NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, Tivoli, Anantara, Avani, Elewana and Oaks.
