KSA: Boutique hotel operator One to One Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Al Sharif Ghalib Endowment for four hotels in Saudi Arabia.

The properties will be Abu Dhabi-based One to One’s first in the Kingdom. A total inventory of 1000 rooms has been secured through the deals, doubling One to One’s portfolio.

The four properties are the 403-key One to One – Bayadia, the 219-key One to One – Al Samman, the 228-key One to One – Al Rusaifa, all in Makkah, and the 70-key One to One – Down Town in Jeddah.

Philippe Harb, COO of One to One Hotels, said: “Religious tourism is extremely important for our growth and presence in the market. The sheer density of developments around the Haram are pushing larger developments outwards and Al Aziziyah is considered a prime district for future intake of more hospitality supply and that’s where One to One hotels are going to be located. Hajj visit numbers are expected to continue to grow to 5.2 million by 2025 from two million in 2013. Furthermore, there are ongoing negotiations to manage four additional hotels in KSA and increase our presence and strength in the market.”

To support these developments, One to One Hotels & Resorts will launch a new sales and marketing office in Jeddah.

“At One to One Hotels & Resorts we believe in adding value to our investors and re-defining business by establishing long term business associations. Our innovative management fits well in asset allocation of any leisure and lifestyle investment portfolio,” said Harb.
