Packed agenda and leading speakers for Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit

UK: Monday sees the start of the 2018 Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit in London.

Now in its eighth year, the Summit is a must attend event for boutique and lifestyle hotel owners, and operators, as well as providers of goods and services. The 2018 Summit has the most comprehensive and interactive agenda yet, and offers a huge range of activities during May 21 and 22.

On Monday May 21, the Summit begins with a fascinating “unlock the neighbourhood” tour of hospitality and F&B venues in the vibrant Shoreditch neighbourhood, taking in The Curtain hotel, the Dictionary Hostel, the Boxpark pop-up F&B and retail outlet and the Napoleon, a remarkable new hotel with just one room and three bars!

After the tour the event moves to the Montcalm Royal London House hotel on Finsbury Square for a networking drinks reception, speed business card swap and the second annual Boutique Hotel Guest experience awards – the BoHos for short. The BoHos recognise UK and international boutique, lifestyle and hybrid hotels for providing excellence in guest experience. Uniquely, the BoHos are awarded not on the basis of scores from judges or academics, but based on feedback from real guests in the form of verified online reviews and direct feedback. And as if that was not enough for one day, we then have an awards after party in a secret location.

Tuesday 21st sees the a full day’s conference agenda at The Montcalm Marble Arch, in London’s West End. There are sessions on technology, hotel case studies, Brexit, development, mindfulness, F&B, the shared economy, distribution, PR, social media and influencer marketing, lighting, investment and more.

New for 2018 is a series of interactive round table workshops where the audience is split in to smaller groups to share their knowledge and experience, each led by an expert in their respective field. the round tables will cover GDPR, sustainability, voice control and digital marketing, guest reviews, and marketing to the Chinese guest.
