Pineapple Hospitality buys and renames Portland’s Hotel Fifty

US: Pineapple Hospitality has bought the 140-room Hotel Fifty in downtown Portland, and renamed it Hotel Rose.

Pineapple Hospitality acquired the property from Oly-IDA Hotels LLC, a joint venture between Coastal Hotel Group, IDA Riverfront LLC, and an affiliate investment company of Olympic Investors LLC.

The hotel is undergoing cosmetic renovations to bring it in alignment with the company’s brand standards. The H50 bistro & bar will continue to trade throughout the work.

Hotel Rose will share the same guest services and amenities as Pineapple’s other hotels, including bicycle checkout programme and hotel-wide Wi-Fi internet access.

Michelle Foreman Barnet, president of Pineapple Hospitality, said: “This is an amazing time of growth for our company. We’re thrilled to bring our brand to the Portland area and look forward to introducing Pineapple Hospitality to a new audience. Additionally, we’re excited for opportunities to expand our brand along the West Coast.”
