Portugal: Tourismo de Portugal has created a stamp of approval to let travellers distinguish when a company is compliant with hygiene and cleaning requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The scheme, open to tourism companies, travel agencies, and tourist activity groups, can be obtained on the websites of the Tourismo de Portugal: RNET (National Register of Tourist Enterprises), RNAAT (National Register of Tourist Entertainment Agents) and RNAVT (National Register of Travel and Tourism Agents).
The validation is free and optional and valid for one year, requiring internal procedures created by Portugal’s Directorate-General for Health to be implemented.
Once approved, companies can publish the ‘Clean & Safe’ stamp either physically on premises or on their digital platforms. Random audits will be carried out to ensure consistency.
