UK: The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa has appointed Tim O’Sullivan as its new general manager. 

O’Sullivan brings 25 years of experience in hospitality, having served as a general manager of the Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa, and prior to that, he led Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, where he oversaw a major refurbishment and launched a new dining concept.

Previously, he spent 19 years at Whitbread in different senior roles. 

O’Sullivan said: “I’m thrilled to be joining The Coniston at such a pivotal moment. The estate has a truly unique proposition, from its award-winning spa and breathtaking landscape to its dynamic hospitality and activity offering. I look forward to working with the talented team to shape an experience that continues to surprise and delight every guest who visits.”

Located in the Yorkshire Dales, Coniston Hotel is a 1000-acre country estate offering 71 bedrooms, self-catering cottages, and a  restaurant, bar and spa.

It also hosts weddings and private events, along with that a variety of on-site activities, from a Land Rover off roading experience and clay pigeon shooting to archery and fishing.
