Caribbean: In partnership with Miami-based private investment company Yntegra Group, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will open a luxury hotel resort on a private island within the Bahamas archipelago Exuma.

Located on a 124-acre private island known as East Sampson Cay, Rosewood will open a 33-suite hotel. It forms part of the archipelago Exuma, comprising 365 islands.

Around 25 per cent of the 124 acres will be developed, and initiatives such as solar powered energy sources will be implemented to minimise impact.

When complete, Rosewood Exuma will feature six food and beverage venues with ingredients sourced from the property’s organic garden, a 20,000 square-foot Asaya spa with six treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy facility, outdoor pool, and fitness centre, along with an outdoor sports centre featuring tennis, padel and pickleball courts, as well as water sports equipment.

The hotel will also include a fully serviced beach club with a grill restaurant, beach and pool bars, and a private dining room. Two marinas with slips are planned to accommodate yachts up to 150 feet.

In addition to the beach club pool, two other pools are available exclusively for overnight gusts including one dedicated to families.

“It’s immensely exciting to be partnering with Yntegra Group to bring Rosewood’s signature blend of luxury and authenticity to the breathtaking Exumas,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “We have conceived Rosewood Exuma to offer a next-generation luxury experience – one that honors the quintessential character of this pristine archipelago and invites guests on a journey of discovery and adventure.”

Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group, added: “We are enthusiastic about the partnership with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and believe that the brand’s iconic hospitality expertise will help to redefine the industry in Exuma. This partnership represents our shared vision to create exceptional experiences that inspire and delight our guests while being good community partners who are committed to Exuma.”

Rosewood Exuma is expected to open in 2028.
